The report of “standing here”
展覧会が終わり、あっという間に1か月が経ってしまいました。
今日は1月の二人展のご報告です♪
今回はスウェーデンアーティストのアンジェリーナ・ゲーメルトとの二人展でした。
居場所や存在をテーマに、私は日本の伝統工芸の手法、「木目込み」と
ペインティングを合わせた平面作品、アンジェリーナは「ガムプリント」という、
19世紀の写真の印画方法を使用した作品を展示しました。

This exhibition is a collaboration with a Swedish Artist,
Angelina Gemert. The theme is “whereabouts”.
I made my artworks using the technique called “Kimekomi”,
a Japanese traditional way to insert cloth into linear carvings.
Angelina made using “Gum Print”, a 19th century photographic
printing process based on the light sensitivity of dichromates.
